DELIVERY OF FIVE MULTI-FUNCTION ROAD MAINTENANCE VEHICLES ON JAC N350 CHASSIS FOR AVTOSTRADA GROUP

Budshlyakhmash Group has delivered the first five multi-function road maintenance vehicles (MFRV) on JAC N350 chassis to AVTOSTRADA Group — one of Ukraine’s largest infrastructure contractors.

The new machines are designed for year-round road maintenance and can perform a wide range of operational tasks without the need for additional specialised equipment. Each unit combines a water tanker, sand spreader, front sweeping brush, and snow plough.

The MFRV is built on a JAC N350 6×4 chassis with a gross vehicle weight of 35 tonnes. It is powered by a WEICHAI WP10.350E53 diesel engine producing 342 hp, paired with a 12-speed manual gearbox, providing the traction required to operate under full load.

For winter road maintenance, the vehicles are equipped with a 12 m³ sand spreader with a working width of 3 to 12 metres. Material is fed by a chain-and-flight conveyor with a disc distribution mechanism, enabling precise control of anti-icing material application rates.

The 3-metre snow plough with a 30° rotation angle ensures effective road clearance during heavy snowfall.

In summer, the machines operate as road sweepers and water tankers. A 12 m³ tank and a spray system with a width of up to 20 metres allow washing of road surfaces, irrigation, and dust suppression on road and construction sites. A 2.5-metre front sweeping brush provides effective cleaning of the road surface from dust, dirt, and debris. A moistening system with nozzles on the sweeping brush and two spray jets minimises dust generation during operation.
