The Budshlyakhmash Group of Companies Successfully Completed the Shipment of JAC Sunray Passenger Minibuses

The Budshlyakhmash Group of Companies has completed another important project — the successful shipment of a batch of modern JAC Sunray passenger minibuses with a capacity of 16+1, which will serve as a reliable solution for commercial passenger transport.

JAC Sunray Passenger is a modern minibus, with a design developed in Italy, while the interior finishing and dashboard are created based on Japanese examples.

The heart of the JAC Sunray is an economical HFC4DE1-1D diesel engine with a displacement of 2.746 liters equipped with a Common Rail system meeting Euro V standards, which generates a power of 149 hp. The Common Rail technology provides fuel savings of up to 15% and an increase in performance by 40% compared to classic diesel engines. The six-speed manual transmission ensures efficient operation in various modes, and a maximum speed of up to 100 km/h allows for confident movement both in the city and on highways.

Special attention has been paid to safety: the JAC Sunray is equipped with a hydraulic braking system with disc mechanisms on both axles, as well as ABS, ASR, and ESC systems from BOSCH, and a rear parking radar. The driver’s airbag, seat belts on all seats, and an alarm for unfastened seatbelts ensure a high level of protection.

Passenger comfort is supported by a powerful air conditioning system with individual deflectors for each passenger, adjustable backrest angles (6 positions), armrests on the outer rows, tinted windows, and sun-protective curtains. The driver’s cabin is equipped with a multifunctional steering wheel with height adjustment, cruise control, onboard computer, a music system with USB/MP3, and a central lock with remote control.
